hmmm...just realized my question might have folks wondering why on Earth would Jerry have EVER wanted to sound like Weir?

But of course, I meant Dylan, and in the 66 versions of IAONBBlue, to my ear it is very obvious that Jerry sings it just like Bob does with the initial intense emphasis of lines trailing off to abrupt, rapidly concluded phrasing (or however it is one would describe how BD sang/talked his way through his songs in the mid 60s).
